Pedro Krompecher
Trial Lawyer
Pedro Krompecher’s career has been defined by rigorous preparation, competitive drive, and success in high-stakes litigation. After graduating high school he played professional soccer in Belgium, an experience that instilled discipline, focus, and the ability to perform under pressure—skills that would later define his courtroom advocacy.
A scholarship recipient at Syracuse University, Krompecher graduated in the top 1% in the School of Economics. He went on to earn his law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he graduated in the top of his class.
The first part of his career was spent at one of the largest law firms in Chicago, where he was part of a trial team that defended more than 25 medical malpractice cases for major hospitals and healthcare systems. After moving with his wife to her hometown in North Carolina and starting a family, Krompecher made a pivotal career decision. He could no longer devote his time to flying around the country defending private healthcare companies against claims of malpractice, fraud, and corporate negligence when he related much more to the injured families bringing those tragic claims. “Starting a family changes your perspective on life and the purpose of your career.”
Since becoming a father, Krompecher has devoted his practice exclusively to representing individuals and families in personal injury and wrongful death cases. He has tried more than 100 personal injury cases and has secured over $100,000,000 in verdicts and settlements. His work has included more than 100 wrongful death matters as well as complex, high-profile cases involving workers’ compensation, trucking accidents, and catastrophic fires.
Krompecher’s cases are built on meticulous preparation. “I need experts in specialized fields to make me an expert for the purposes of my case.” Over the course of his career, Krompecher has worked with hundreds of leading physicians, engineers, safety experts, and industry specialists to establish liability and damages for judges and juries. Almost all of his professional time is spent in depositions, mediations, and trials, supported by a dedicated team of lawyers, doctors, nurses, and paralegals who share his commitment to excellence.
As Krompecher explains, “Preparation is the product of dedication to your craft—exactly like a professional athlete who trains relentlessly and performs best under the brightest lights. In the courtroom, that preparation is what wins cases.”
